Overview:

Social value is becoming an increasingly important topic for sustainability professionals. Once largely associated with philanthropy, community donations and corporate social responsibility programmes, social value has evolved into a strategic and measurable business discipline that is shaping procurement decisions, contract awards and stakeholder expectations.

Across private and public sector supply chains, organisations are being asked to demonstrate not only what they deliver, but the wider social, economic and community benefits they create – and the monetary value of those benefits. Social value requirements are being included in tender processes, with specific expectations around measurement, reporting and evidence of impact.

This webinar will explore the evolving social value landscape and what it means for Irish organisations.

We will discuss:

What social value is and why it matters

How the concept of social value is influencing the corporate sustainability narrative

The factors driving social value’s rising prominence in procurement and tendering

An overview of the key social value frameworks and methodologies

Real world case studies from organisations putting social value creation and measurement into practice

Speakers:

The webinar will be hosted by SustainabilityWorks and their UK colleagues from Sustainable Advantage, and will feature case studies from Irish corporates.

Who should attend?

Sustainability and ESG professionals, bid and tender managers, procurement teams, CSR and community investment leads, professionals working across construction, engineering, infrastructure, real estate and other sectors where social value is an increasingly hot topic.
